How many persons can be accommodated at Sunnyside?
We can accommodate only 8 persons in total.

How many bedrooms do you have at Sunnyside?
We have three bedrooms with attached toilets (2 triple rooms and 1 double room).

We can rough out, can you accommodate more than 8 people?
No, we cannot accommodate more than 8 people although we know you can "rough out".

How far is the Ella railway station?
Around 400 meters from Sunnyside. We can also pick you up from the Ella railway station for free.

How far is the Badulla railway station?
The Badulla railway station is three stations away from Ella and takes approximately 1 hour to get there by train.

How far is the Ella town?
The Ella town is around 500 meters from Sunnyside. If you need to eat out, there are many restaurants in the Ella town.

What is "Half Board"?
This refers to the room, dinner and breakfast.

What does a room contain?
All rooms contain bed(s) with mosquitto net(s), attached tiled toilet with hot water shower. All linen, including clean blankets and towels are also provided.

What does a meal contain?
In general, all meals are Sri Lankan - cooked according to your requirements. ie. mild, hot, very hot. Dinner contains soup, main meal with fish/beef/chicken/pork followed with a dessert and tea/coffee. Breakfast can be Sri Lankan or simply fruits, juice, toast and eggs.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
No, we don't. In fact, we encourage a no smoking, no alcohol policy at Sunnyside.

Do you have a television at Sunnyside?
No, we don't.

Do you have wi-fi and is it free?
Yes and yes.
